A Day that Lives in Infamy

In the early morning hours of December 7th, 1941, the United States naval base Pearl Harbor had been attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy. The U.S. forces fought back bravely, but suffered over 3,600 casualties. This event shocked the nation, and America was quickly pulled into World War II. “Remember Pearl Harbor” became a rallying cry throughout the war.
