This Lesson Plan assumes that the class will be able to access the “Health in the Heartland” exhibit at Nodaway County Historical Society.

The objective is to engage the students in local medicinal history while fostering their abilities to evaluate the accuracy of statements. This will involve using evidence to prove or disprove statements.
