What the Soldiers Brought Home

Nicholson’s exhibit actually managed to inspire another veteran to donate his own artifact. Dr. Mark Corson donated an intact Iraqi national flag given to him by his soldiers during the invasion of Iraq and commemoration of their capturing of Ali Air Base among other objectives. Dr. Corson took control of the 450th Movement Control Battalion that would eventually head into Iraq.
